- Ensure workplace safety, health and environment practices, procedures and processes comply with WSH Act and regulations, Code of Practice and ISO 14001 and ISO 45001,
- Manage incident via in-house incident reporting system and perform investigations, recommend actions and follow up matters arising from these activities,
- Collate and analyze incident statistics (incident / near miss) and recommend intervention strategies; to eliminate/reduce the risk of future occurrences and incidents of ill health and lost workdays;
- Inspect workplace to identify hazard and risk and implement corrective actions accordingly,
- Perform annual internal audit as well as the support external audit when assigned,
- Perform Safety Induction Program for all new employees as well as developing and implementing programs to raise employees’ awareness of work risks and to help cultivate a strong safety culture within the organization,
- Review and update WSH requirements in Company’s Safety Management System manual and support safety programs / initiative,
- Prepare and implement safe work procedure and risk assessment for every single job,
- Manage permit application and renewal process,
- Conduct HSE promotional events,
- Any other duties as assigned.
