Introduction to the role:
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to join their team and be responsible for activation and identifying opportunities for the Japanese market.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and activate potential opportunities in the Japanese market.
- Provide business development support in strategic planning, creating presentations, and meeting with Japanese partners to drive entertaintment content.
- Represent the company’s content partnership in external meetings with executives from external partners.
- Track, analyze, and communicate to develop and execute against partnership goals.
- Work cross-functionally with a variety of teams, including Product, Marketing, Legal, Policy and Operations to advocate partner needs.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a partnerships role in the entertainment/tech industry.
- Proven track record in prospecting, securing leads and developing new relationships.
- Strong understanding of Ips and entertainment landscape in the Japan market.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Japanese and English.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders internationally.
