Job Descriptions
- Assist the Chef in specific sections as assigned
- Conducting stock-take of ingredients
- Preparing and ensuring the sufficiency of mise en place
- Preparing food, stocks, and soups for a particular meal period
- Ensuring that food is prepared to the highest standards within the recipe guidelines
- Preparing station-specific food dishes
- Ensuring that there is no cross-contamination of foods
- Responsible for cleaning the kitchen after a service period
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Candidates with a fine dining experience in Japanese Cuisine will be an added advantage.
- Keen for opportunities to learn to be multi-skilled and trained
- Possess Food Safety and Hygiene certification
- Able to work on evenings, weekends, and public holidays
