Key Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make final decisions on matters of importance to guest service
- Responsible for ensuring that all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll-related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures
- Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. Ensure compliance with operational standards, and restaurant policies.
- Ensure positive guest service in all areas.
- Conduct orientation, and induction and oversee the training of new employees.
- Priorities tasks effectively to ensure most important tasks are completed on time.
- Proficiency in Point of sale (POS) software, inventory software
- Assist in planning and executing private events.
Requirements
- At least 5 years and above with relevant experience.
- Candidates with a fine dining experience in Japanese Cuisine will have an added advantage.
- Possess Food Safety and Hygiene certification
- Able to work on evenings, weekends, and public holidays
