Responsibilities
- Collaborate with consultants to develop and refine structural designs for large-scale building projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
- Prepare technical submissions and quality plans for tenders, focusing on compliance with builder standards and regulations.
- Conduct engineering design according to Eurocodes and assist in permit applications for design approvals with relevant authorities.
- Review and approve structural drawings for accuracy and compliance with building regulations, and oversee the installation of structural components.
- Design safe and cost-effective temporary works tailored for construction needs and participate in project meetings to address technical queries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (accredited by the Singapore Professional Engineering Board).
- Min 3 years of experience in structural design, specifically for reputable builders, with a strong understanding of building regulations and authority procedures.
- Proficiency in engineering design software and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
