Junior Interior Designer

We are a dynamic interior design firm in Singapore seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior Interior Designer to join our team. In this role, you will gain valuable experience working alongside senior designers on a variety of residential and commercial projects.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assist senior designers with all phases of the design process, from initial client meetings to project completion.
  • Develop creative design concepts and translate client needs into functional and stylish spaces.
  • Conduct space planning and prepare detailed technical drawings (floor plans, elevations, etc.) using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
  • Research and source furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials within budget constraints.
  • Create captivating presentations to effectively communicate design ideas to clients.
  • Assist with project management tasks, including compiling material specifications and maintaining project timelines.
  • Stay up-to-date on current design trends and industry best practices.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field (e.g., Architecture, Fine Arts).
  • 0-2 years of experience in an interior design firm (or relevant internship experience).
  • Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and color theory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, designers, and contractors.
  • Proficient in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar programs) with a willingness to learn new ones.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
