Lead and Manage IT Audits:
- Plan, organize, and oversee IT audit assignments across various systems and departments.
- Ensure audits are aligned with the organization’s overall risk management strategy.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with IT governance frameworks and security standards.
Perform Risk Assessments:
- Analyze and assess risks related to IT infrastructure, applications, and operational processes.
- Evaluate the adequacy of IT controls to safeguard against potential risks, such as data breaches, system failures, and cyber threats.
- Prioritize risk areas for audits based on impact, likelihood, and control weaknesses.
Execute IT Audits:
- Conduct audits to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of IT security measures and governance practices.
- Review system configurations, network security, access control measures, data management protocols, and disaster recovery plans.
- Document audit findings, identify gaps, and report on the adequacy and effectiveness of the organization’s IT controls and governance structures.
Recommend Process Improvements:
- Develop actionable recommendations to strengthen IT security, improve risk management processes, and enhance governance frameworks.
- Work closely with the IT and operations teams to implement suggested improvements and monitor progress.
- Advise management on industry best practices to maintain a secure and efficient IT environment.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure audits comply with applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards (such as ISO, NIST, etc.), and internal policies.
- Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, risks, and recommendations.
- Present audit outcomes to senior management and provide ongoing support to maintain a secure IT infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Degree in IT with 6+ years in IT audit, security, and control.
- CISA, CIA, CISSP preferred.
- Expertise in IT governance, risk, and audit.
- Proficient in multiple IT domains and technologies.
- Skilled in evaluating IT security and risk management.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity trends.
- Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
- 2 years contract
