Job Description:
- Coordinate the implantation of mechanical heart devices, including patient assessment, managing patients with the devices, and assisting with routine investigations.
- Engage in discussions with patients and their families to explain the mechanical heart devices program, and provide training on device use for patients, families, and staff.
- Perform wound inspections, dressing changes, and assist doctors during device implantation procedures.
- Support the administrative aspects of the program, including maintaining statistical data and updating the Registry.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse in Singapore with 3 to 5 years of experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Experience in cardiothoracic nursing or operating theatre is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
