The successful candidate would be required to:-
(1) Publicity and Staff Engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute Fleet-wide initiatives aimed at fostering internal and external stakeholder engagement
- Coordinate staff communications, cohesion activities, events, and ceremonies to promote a positive organisational culture
- Develop creative publicity and communications strategies to showcase staff achievements, new initiatives, and projects across various media platforms
(2) Crewing Matters
- Oversee the timely application, renewal, and cancellation of certificates and documents for new and existing vessels, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Liaise with relevant authorities and institutions to facilitate inspection and documentation preparation for vessel licenses and certifications
- Coordinate with Fleet Operations team to facilitate crew certification renewals and ensure proper documentation upkeep
- Provide administrative support for vessel sales and charter agreements, including documentation preparation and coordination with business partners
- Ensure prompt preparation of vessels and crew for Outside Port Limit (OPL) jobs, including immigration clearance and departure/arrival applications
- Offer basic IT support and troubleshooting assistance for crew
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
The successful candidate shall preferably possess:-
- A degree in Business, Business Administration, Maritime Business, Logistics or Supply Chain
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in the maritime and/or logistics industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent critical thinking and numeracy skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications
