Job Responsibilities
- Able to teach Primary / Secondary level Chinese with passion in the classroom.
- Plan and deliver well structured Chinese language lessons to primary and secondary level.
- Foster a positive and inclusion learning environment that promotes cultural understanding.
- Utilise various teaching methods and resources to cater to individual learning style.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Able to communicate well by addressing students and parents needs and concerns.
- Able to work evening and weekend
Requirements
- An experienced and certified Chinese teacher capable of teaching Singapore primary and secondary levels.
- A creative and engaging instructor with the ability to make language learning fun and interactive.
- A strong communicator who can connect with students of different age groups effectively.
- A team player with the desire to contribute to the overall development of our language department.
- Proficiency speaking & writing Chinese (Must) & English (preferred)
- Bachelor ‘s Degree, majoring in Chinese language or related field preferred
- Singaporeans or Permanent Residents are preferred.
- Familiar with Singapore MOE Chinese standards and methods, able to develop teaching plans and material based on students different needs and levels.
- Excellent teaching skills in explain vividly and visually
- Knowledge of Chinese phonetics, vocabulary, grammar and Chinese characters
- Good organization, coordination, managing small class size and ability to inspire student passion in learning Chinese.
