We are currently working with a global EPC organization who are seeking a Regional EHS Director to oversee its regional operations.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of the Global EHS management systems to ensure legislative and internal program compliance in all countries under their guidance.
- Maintenance and implementation of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification requirements at SEA Regional level.
- Partner and Coach functional leaders to influence and manage EHS project and business decisions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with EHS representatives internally and with of customers, partners, contractors and suppliers.
- Ensure EHS programs align with The Group's programs and initiatives, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations
- Support the corporate EHS goals by reviewing regional strategy to assist in achieving them
- Coordinate execution of the IFW Program in SEA with the SEA Senior Leadership Team
- Understand regulatory changes and trends and forecast business impact
- Anticipate business cycle growth and impact while aligning and managing EHS resources for continued success
- Ensures that the Company’s EHS core values are always aligned and adhered to.
- Coordinate functional activities across the region in safety, environment and health (Wellbeing)
- Manages and monitors EHS performance by conducting analysis on regional performance and trends delivering a monthly leadership report with recommendations for improvement.
- Conducts training needs analysis and ensure adequate project EHS training is facilitated.
- Conducts regional EHS evaluations biannually in accordance with corporate procedures.
- Where required support in the investigation and review of recordable and serious near miss events.
- Assists in managing, coaching and mentoring regional EHS leads in SEA
Requirements:
- Degree in EHS or equivalent
- 15-20 years experience in a similar capacity and in an EPC environment
