Job Description:
As a Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Technician, you will repair, service, and troubleshoot a range of engines and equipment, including Cummins, Volvo, Perkins, MAN, Caterpillar, and Deutz. This role involves diagnosing and maintaining electrical and electronic circuits, control panels, and engine systems, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and meets company standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Repair and service equipment/engines (Cummins, Volvo, Perkins, MAN, Caterpillar, Deutz) as per schedule
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical/electronic circuits on generators, control panels, and electronic engines
- Perform testing and commissioning on engines and generators
- Interpret electrical/electronic drawings accurately
- Survey equipment to assess required scope of repair/service
- Troubleshoot, repair, or construct engine wiring harnesses and alternator wiring
- Construct, replace, or modify control panels (AC/DC) for engines and generators
- Maintain and care for machinery, tools, and service area
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose engine/electrical issues
- Skilled in reading electrical/electronic schematics
- Strong hands-on experience with engine repair and control panels
