As a ServiceNow Developer, your primary responsibility is to design, develop, and implement solutions within the ServiceNow platform. You will work closely with stakeholders, system administrators, and other development teams to gather business requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions. Your expertise in ServiceNow development will play a critical role in streamlining processes, improving workflows, and enhancing user experiences across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering & Solution Design: Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Design, develop, configure, test, and implement ServiceNow solutions to meet those needs.


ServiceNow Customization: Customize ServiceNow applications, modules, forms, workflows, and user interfaces to align with business requirements.


Technical Development & Scripting: Write server-side and client-side scripts, business rules, and UI policies within the ServiceNow scripting environment.


Platform Enhancements: Extend ServiceNow capabilities using features like Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, UI Macros, and the Service Portal.


System Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of ServiceNow applications, including performing patching and upgrades.


Collaboration & Project Delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (system administrators, business analysts, project managers) to ensure the successful delivery of ServiceNow projects.

User Support: Assist end-users by providing technical support for ServiceNow applications and resolving issues related to platform functionality.

Technology Strategy: Advise on technology adoption and integration strategies to create cohesive, holistic solutions tailored to business needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in ServiceNow implementation and support, with specific experience as a ServiceNow Technical Consultant, including ground-up implementations.

Certification: Must possess ServiceNow certification, such as Certified Application Developer.

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in ServiceNow scoped applications, including client scripts, business rules, workflows, flow designer, script includes, UI actions, and custom application development.

At least 2 years’ experience with Service Portal and widget development (AngularJS, JavaScript, CSS, HTML).

Hands-on knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.

Strong knowledge and experience integrating ServiceNow using platform APIs and integration tools.

Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, essential for collaboration and effective technical support.

This role is ideal for a seasoned ServiceNow professional with a proven track record of successful implementations, strong technical skills, and a collaborative approach to development and support.
