Our Client is a leading Civil Contractor that provides engineering & construction for Civil & Infrastructure projects. With increasing projects in the pipeline locally & overseas, they are seeking experienced and professional individuals to join their local team.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the consultant's design progress according to the agreed submission and detailed design schedule.
- Review design drawings from consultants, identifying any missing information, design clashes, or issues that may affect construction.
- Oversee and manage design coordination efforts, working closely with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth communication and progress across all teams.
- Ensure coordination between different disciplines by managing the project's drawing schedules and the timely release of drawings for construction.
- Collaborate with BIM modelers/drafters to prepare accurate shop drawings, ensuring all dimensions and settings are properly captured. Ability to effectively communicate technical information through sketches and interpret technical drawings independently is essential.
- Identify key technical information and sections that need to be generated for construction purposes and resolve technical challenges as they arise.
- Work with the construction team and subcontractors to prepare and submit required documents for approval, including material submissions, material specifications, method statements, and specialist subcontractor shop drawings.
- Address and resolve technical issues raised by construction teams or consultants through clear communication and proper documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 5 years of experience as an M&E Coordinator.
- Proficient in professional practice and contract administration processes.
- Minimum with M&E Coordination experience. Preferable with LTA project exposures.Good knowledge of site temporary M&E installations.

• Salary : up to S$7,500 / Negotiable + VB (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications).
