Responsibilities
Sales
· Develop winning proposals, reports and insights for presentation to clients
· Contact clients to offer them business proposals or close sales deals
· Follow-up on marketing leads to secure potential sales opportunities
· Review sales records and develop action plans to increase sales figures
· Conduct research on appropriate strategies for increasing sales and customer base
· Prepare and present periodic sales reports to management to provide useful information for making key business decisions
· Carry out assessments to identify and eliminate inefficiencies and time-consuming processes
Sourcing
· Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies and networks
· Discover new suppliers and develop new partnerships where economically viable
· Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
· Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
· Review existing contracts for improvements
· Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the customers
· Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
Requirements
- Education and Training: Degree or Diploma in Business
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in procurement / vendor management role
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in Sales / Business Development
- Good network of contract manufacturers
- Good interpersonal skills
- Outstanding Analytical Skills: incumbent must be able to understand the market, analyze and conduct research to derive initiatives for improved sales
- Good insight into sourcing and sales processes with good negotiation and problem solving skills
- Strong contract structuring skills.
