Roles & Responsibility
- Plan and conduct flora surveys in a range of different habitat types in Singapore
- Assist with data entry, statistical analyses, provision of flora-specific and/or arboricultural recommendations, and the preparation of technical reports including Environmental Impact Studies.
- Provide support for other tasks, including administrative tasks, capacity building, project management and business development, depending on the needs of the company.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited institution with a background in plant ecology/botany/life science/environmental science or other program with relevant experiences.
- Ability to identify plants from various forested habitats in Singapore
- Minimum 3 years working as a flora specialist in Singapore, senior position requires 6 years of relevant experiences.
- ISA-certified arborist certification is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with GIS, basic R coding and viewing Autocad drawings
- Proficient use of MS Office, especially Excel and Word
- Attention to detail, with outstanding oral and written communication skills
