Responsibilities
- Conduct site supervision on Environmental Management & Monitoring Plan (EMMP)
- Oversee the implementation of the monitoring of noise, vibration, water quality, air quality, ecology and other environmental parameters by contractors at site according to the EMMP
- Liaise closely with contractors, project manager, and other specialists to ensure proper implementation of EMMP measures
- Act as the point of contact for the company
- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with EMMP requirements by contractors
- Compile and evaluate monitoring data from contractors to prepare monthly Environmental Performance Reports (EPR)
- Conduct regular biodiversity awareness trainings to construction personnel
- Good knowledge on environmental regulations in Singapore would be advantageous
- Ability to work independently would be advantageous
- The candidate will be stationed at the project’s construction site full-time for two or more years
- Provide support for other tasks, including administrative tasks depending on the needs of the company
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering/Science, Diploma, or other Professional qualifications will be considered.
- Good technical skills and understanding of construction activities supported with good report writing and communication skills
- 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred, training will be provided during the course of work
