Full Time: 44 hours per week, day shift office hour (Mon to Fri, alternate Sat)
Job Description:
As a Community Care Associate, you will work with a team of Healthcare Assistants & Nursing Aides in assisting the elderly with their daily needs:
1) Basic nursing care:
- Monitor vital signs
- Prepare meals, milk / drinks
- Meal feeding / NGT feeding
- Assist to feed oral medicine
- Shower/ Bed sponging
- Personal Hygiene
- Bed-making (arranging bedsheets)
- Changing diaper/assist toileting
- Transferring / positioning
2) Conduct activities and basic exercise
3) Assist physiotherapist / occupational therapy with rehabilitation program
4) Accompany / Escort elderly for medical / social appointment and outing
Requirement:
- Singaporean / PR
- Community Care Associate training available
- understand basic English
- multilingual an added advantage
- physically fit - able to push wheelchair and assist with transferring of elderly
- love to care for the elderly
- patience & proactive
- no age limit
