Our client, a leading quality food provider and wholesale, is looking for suitable talents to join their growing business as Business Development Manager (Italian Speaking).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Market and Category Expertise:
- Understand the market dynamics, including supply chain, competitors, and pricing.
- Build relationships with stakeholders to gain competitive advantages in supply and pricing.
- Track market movements and provide insights for better market understanding.
Sales Support and Product Management:
- Develop and implement category strategies to align product ranges with customer needs.
- Maintain a clear product/customer matrix to support sales team efficiency.
- Identify new products and suppliers to fill range gaps and support sales growth.
- Conduct product training and support key customers with innovation and cost-saving solutions.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and procurement teams for promotional activities.
Procurement and Supply Chain Management:
- Collaborate with procurement to optimize buying strategies and financial terms.
- Represent the company professionally within the supplier community.
- Implement buying programs and drive financial terms to maximize margin.
Production Engagement:
- Work with production teams to align processing ranges with market opportunities.
- Support product specification, rationalization, and new product introduction.
- Address inventory issues and minimize stock write-offs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven experience in sales or business development or a similar role, preferably in the foodservice or food manufacturing industry.
- Business level proficiency in Italian language is required as this role is required to communicate and associate with Italian speaking stakeholders/clients.

- Location: West
- Working hours: 5 days work week
- Salary: Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications.
