Job Summary:

Part of Customer Service team responsible for handling all types of Ownership & Nomination transactions including policy assignment, beneficiary nomination, vesting, and delivering them within service standards and ensuring compliance with the respective regulatory frameworks.

Job Description:

  • Assess and process applications for absolute and collateral assignment, beneficiary nomination and vesting within service, compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Handle investigation of complex cases from policyholders and financial representatives on assignments and nomination of beneficiary.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments, including Bancassurance, Claims, Legal, Group Risk Management on assignment, beneficiary nominations, FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliant Act) and CRS (Common Reporting Standard) matters. Note that FATCA and CRS forms are part of submission requirements for assignments and trust nominations.
  • Provide strong support in handling enquiries from touchpoints, including policyholders and financial representatives on section cases and processes.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and defects.
  • Review and provide continuous improvement to the section’s processes.
  • Assist to document changes in workflows for the section.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by Unit/Section Heads.
  • Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
  • Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Min 1 year experience in insurance or financial sector.
  • Keen to learn and possess positive work attitude.
  • Possess good time management skills and is able to priorities work to ensure efficiency.
  • Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and is customer-focused.
  • Analytical and meticulous.
  • Ability to process requests timely and accurately.
  • Team player, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and detailed with ability to work proactively with minimal supervision. Able to take stress and meet tight timelines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
