Responsibilities:
- Create and execute a sales development strategy that takes into account the company's skills, trade routes, and business plan in order to fulfill or surpass the set sales targets.
- Determine and work along with internal stakeholders to create differentiators that will boost our ability to attract and retain new customers, such as IV specialty and solutions.
- Create a solid pipeline and carry out the opportunity win plan effectively to find and seize new client prospects.
- Create and maintain a network of contacts with customers to foster ties and confidence between the business and the client on a number of levels.
- Drive tactics to form partnerships with consumers that add value
- Convert conversations about prospective opportunities into practical future plans for your clients.
- Adhere to shifting trends, supply and demand, economic indicators, and rivals to maintain the best possible sales volume, product mix, and selling price.
- Optimize GP and modify selling prices by keeping an eye on expenses, rivalry, and supply and demand.
- Oversee the coordination of key departments to meet the needs of customers.
- Create a SOP for every secured customer, and go over it with any operational parties that are affected to make sure everyone is aware of the necessary procedures.
- As needed and requested, assist in addressing service concerns with the client
- In order to guarantee accurate and timely monthly sales reporting to the country HOS and country / global management, update all sales activities in Salesforce.
- Create and organize, in collaboration with the appropriate marketing and administrative team members, the efficient use of marketing assets, resources, and all customer-related information.
- Carry out any additional responsibilities allocated by the country/global management and reporting manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, or an equivalent field is preferred
- At least 5 years of Freight Sales Quotation experience in Logistics/Freight Forwarding (Air Freight or Ocean Freight) (80% Hunter role)
- Proven experience in business development and strategic account Management
- Strong market knowledge in freight forwarding, supply chain solutions, preferably with specializations in certain industry verticals
- A sound understanding of leveraging a sales process to uncover customer needs, present appropriate solutions and close business
- Preferably to have own transport
- Strong leadership qualities and motivation skills
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively across various levels with internal stakeholders
