In a Product Yield Enhancement (PYE) as a Physical Failure Analysis (PFA) Engineer, you will be responsible for providing full PFA, circuit edits and functional de-capsulation, supporting qualifications, customer returns, new device introduction, and general test failures.
Key Responsibilities :
- You will become a subject matter expert on PFA, circuit edits and de-capsulation methods, tools and techniques.
- You will also be responsible for understanding all relevant analytical techniques; electrical failure modes, architecture, fabrication process, device operation and device physics for solid state memory devices.
- You may need to collaborate with stakeholders to present on failure analysis findings.
- In this work environment you will be required to follow lab policies and safety procedures.
Requirements :
- Degree graduates in Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Microelectronics / Mechatronics or equivalent.
- At least 1 year or more experience in Physical Failure Analysis, Fab, Assembly work environment or related experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find creative solutions to difficult problems.
- Willing to work on 12 hours rotating day/night or permanent night shift.
