Your Impact and Contribution
You will be responsible for the Finance and Accounting function of Autism Association Singapore in the following areas:
- Responsible for timely closing of monthly/yearly financial accounts, preparation of financial statements for centres and HQ.
- Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (include AP & AR, GL, fixed assets management, donation management, accounts reconciliation, over & under funding computation, journals, audit schedules preparation, grant management, GST computation & filing, Cash management, Fixed deposit management, Maintenance of master data for AP in SAP etc.)
- Coordinate and liaise with internal parties for school, centres and head quarters
- Support annual audit, forecasting and budgeting exercise
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, funding agencies where required
- Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, special audits, procedures and forms – internal and funding agencies
- Support in new processes and system implementation when required
- Support in ensuring strong internal control and corporate governance are in place and give recommendation as necessary
- Other duties as assigned by Finance Manager
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Degree/Diploma in Accountancy, Finance or its equivalent
Skills/Pre-requisite
· Well-versed in MS office, especially MS Excel and Word
· Working and hands on knowledge of SAP (preferred)
· A self-starter who is able to plan, organize and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently.
· Meticulous, like details and can handle full set of accounts
· Can-do attitude, driven and passionate about work
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
