Account Admin

Key Responsibilities

  1. Bookkeeping: Maintain daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
  2. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, monitor outstanding payments, and communicate with vendors and customers regarding payments.
  3. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements to ensure alignment with internal records.
  4. Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  5. Data Entry & Maintenance: Enter and maintain accurate financial records, update account information, and ensure data integrity.
  6. VAT/GST & Other Tax Support: Prepare basic tax documentation and ensure compliance with tax laws (if applicable).
  7. Expense Tracking & Management: Monitor and record expenses, reconcile credit card statements, and prepare expense reports.
  8. Audit Assistance: Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested financial information.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: A degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Software Knowledge: Familiarity with accounting software (like QuickBooks, Xero, or MYOB) and Excel.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong skills in identifying discrepancies and resolving accounting issues.
