Job Overview:
As a Quantity Surveyor specializing in Interior Design and Renovation, you will handle essential cost management, contract management, and tendering processes for various interior fitting-out projects. This role requires a thorough understanding of quantity surveying practices, cost estimation, and contract negotiation.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform quantity measurement for project progress claims, quotations, and final accounts.
- Handle pre/post-contract quantity surveying duties such as taking off quantities, cost control, and finalizing costs.
- Develop and submit tenders per requirements, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Prepare and analyze costings for tenders and project estimates.
- Source and compile quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, reviewing pricing and certifying contractor claims.
- Execute quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and sourcing of contractors and suppliers.
- Assist the project team with contractual matters, including time or expense claims when necessary.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Building Services, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
- 4-5 years of experience in interior design, renovation, or the building industry, with a focus on commercial/industrial/retail fitting-out projects.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team player.
- Independent and self-motivated individual with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Experience handling Singapore-based projects is advantages
