Job Description
The below to be conducted under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, Geneal Manager, Team Leader - Operations and relevant Trader(s), with specific work scope to include but not be limited to;
- Cargo operations including Quantity & Quality control, vessel operations, vessel vetting, instructions on loading/discharging/ inspections, demurrage management, cargo insurance matters, letter of credit checking and related troubleshooting.
- Blending operations, blending component evaluations, instructions on blending/inspections, inventory management & projection, knowledge in cargo sampling & testing, related documentations and related troubleshooting.
- Record/update the database related with the above transactions; and
- Other ad hoc assignments as necessary.
Job Requirement
- Candidates should possess at least 3 years of working experience in oil/gas trading companies directly relevant to (and in) the conducting of cargo and vessel operations/coordination type of works;
- Knowledge in Maritime law;
- Standard skills in Word (and, preferably, PowerPoint);
- Excellent skills in Excel is preferred (Blender role);
- Ability to work independently & professionally, as well as being a good team player with good communication skills;
- Hard working, meticulous and has a strong flair for numbers.
