COMMUNICATIONS CONTENT CREATOR

Dulwich College (Singapore) is looking to recruit a COMMUNICATIONS CONTENT CREATOR to create, develop, publish and promote timely and engaging content across all communication channels, both internally and externally, collaborating with stakeholders across the College community.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows:

Content Creation and Channel Management

  • Social Media: Focus on creating a pipeline of engaging, timely and creative content for the College's social medial channels. Ensure posts are aligned with the College content strategy and delivered on time.
  • TV Screens: Oversee the content scheduling and updates for the College’s internal TV screen network, ensuring all messages are timely and visually engaging.
  • Photo Library: Manage and maintain the organisation of photographs in the photo management platform, focusing on curation, tagging and timely uploads.
  • Systems Management: Provide technical support for systems and platforms (e.g., MyDulwich, HubSpot, MS TeamSite/SharePoint), when required, ensuring all tools function smoothly and support content dissemination.

Video Production and Photography

  • Capture and produce video and photographic content to engage current parent community and attract prospective parents/students, via the College’s social media channels and internal communications.
  • Edit videos to a professional standard, including colour correction audio balancing, and the addition of graphics or animation as necessary.
  • Take event photographs according to the College Calendar of Events, where capacity allows.

Worldwise Parent Academy

  • Support planning and production of parent sessions, including topic selection, coordinating guest speakers, and setting up sessions under oversight of Communications Manager.
  • Oversee the editing, publishing and promotion of sessions across social media, the website and MyDulwich, as suitable.

Publications

  • Contribute written and visual content to College publications such as newsletters, academic journals, employee profiles, media articles and the student yearbook.
  • Lead content interviews with selected Staff and provide content support for various College publications, including newsletters and digital campaigns.

Project Coordination

  • Coordinate content production-related special projects as required, working closely with creative agencies, production houses, printers, photographers, videographers and other suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality output.

The successful candidate will :

  • Have a tertiary degree/diploma or equivalent, or be studying towards one;
  • Have 3 – 5 years’ work experience in a communications or multi-media role, or equivalent, in an agency or in-house communications/marketing team;
  • Have experience creating content for a variety of internal and external communication channels, including social media, in a professional environment and with good writing and presentation skills;
  • Have strong digital fluency, social media savvy and creative flair - design skills a plus - with the aptitude to engage with new technology ;
  • Be skilled in video creation, production and editing for ‘talking head’ interviews, social media and website content, with creative vision and confidence to film and direct a shoot:
  1. Experience shooting with DSLR/videocam and familiarity with audio/lighting equipment
  2. Knowledge of video editing software, for example, Adobe Creative Suite, iMovie or equivalent
  3. Knowledge of editing and rendering video files in multiple format
  4. Experience in animation and graphics and knowledge of After-Effects is a plus
  • Have a keen visual eye and aptitude for taking engaging and aesthetically-pleasing photographs;
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders; enjoyment of working with children a plus;
  • Have the ability to work independently, and under pressure, handle conflicting demands and meet tight deadlines as a tem player in a busy environment.
