Atomic Recruitment is partnering with a Chinese start up and they are looking for a HR manager to assist them to scale up their business
- Recruitment and Talent Acquisition :Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in Singapore and Malaysia
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Employee Relations:Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution and employee engagement.
Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to enhance employee retention strategies.
- Performance Management:Oversee the performance appraisal process and provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans. Collaborate with leadership to establish clear performance expectations and development opportunities.
- Training and Development:Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the organization.
- Policy Development and Compliance:Review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Compensation and Benefits:Support the development and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
Analyze market trends to recommend adjustments to salary structures and benefits offerings.
- HR Metrics and Reporting:Utilize HR analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and provide insights to management.
Prepare regular reports on employee turnover, engagement, and other key HR metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) preferred.
- Proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Chinese counterparts.
- Have prior recruitment experience in Malaysia
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Proficient in HRIS and MS Office Suite, with strong analytical skills.
