Channel Sales Manager

Achieving Individual & Department Targets:

- Track and analyze the purchase performance of assigned accounts on a monthly and year-to-date basis.


Channel/Sales Management:

- Oversee Sales Promoters and effectively execute dealers' campaigns.

- Establish strong relationships with channel partners and floor sales staff to provide exceptional service.

- Increase channel partner sales by closely monitoring stock levels and sell-through.


Promotion Execution:

- Implement sales promotion plans, campaigns, and quantity purchase packages.

- Collaborate with channel partners to plan and execute joint promotions and roadshows.

- Provide support for roadshows and events.


Administration:

- Evaluate and monitor the performance and morale of Sales Promoters.

- Verify promoters' claims and sell-through data.

- Coordinate with manpower agencies for staffing requirements during roadshows and events.

- Ensure timely submission of credit notes, sales incentives, price protection, and sales promoters' incentives.

- Address customer queries, complaints, and requests.

- Assist with stock allocation management.

- Fill in for other Account Managers or salespeople when they are absent.

- Ensure timely collection of payments and follow up on outstanding payments.

- Prepare monthly reports on market situations and performance.

- Provide support to the Institutional/Corporate Sales Team.


Display/Merchandising/Market Feedback:

- Ensure in-store displays, including Point of Purchase materials, are up to date and aligned with company direction and brand guidelines.

- Negotiate display space allocation and support with dealers/superstores.

- Provide market intelligence and prompt feedback on competitors' activities, promotions, and price changes.


Requirements:

- Candidates should possess at least a diploma in marketing, business, or a related field.

- Prior experience of 3-5 years in Channel Management is preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

- Strong communication and presentation skills.

- Highly adaptable to changing business requirements and market trends.

- Self-driven and able to work well in teams and multitask effectively
