Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Maintenance:Install, maintain, repair, and service air-conditioning systems, including split, window, and cassette units.
Review blueprints, commission, and test systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Routine & Preventive Maintenance:Conduct preventive maintenance tasks like cleaning blowers, coils, and performing chemical washes on FCUs.
Perform corrective maintenance for optimal operational efficiency.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs:Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues within air-conditioning systems.
Repair or replace damaged components such as compressors and fan coil motors.
- New System Planning:Plan, design, and install new air-conditioning systems as required.
- Documentation & Compliance:Keep accurate records of performed work and prepare service reports for client endorsement.
Ensure compliance with appliance standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
- Emergency & On-Call Service:Attend to breakdowns, emergency repairs, and urgent service requests as needed.
- Additional Responsibilities:Adhere to safety protocols and any other tasks assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in air-conditioning maintenance or repair.
- Education: NITEC or Higher NITEC in air conditioning, electrical, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
Strong physical ability to handle job demands, including bending, kneeling, and working in hot or confined spaces.
Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays if required.
Ability to work independently or in a team with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in English and Mandarin for effective client and stakeholder communication.
Work Schedule
- Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Rest Days: Saturday & Sunday
