Job Description
- Supervise, inspect, and manage daily real-time system installation and maintenance activities on-site.
- Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors, vendors, and authorities such as Town Councils and Building Management teams.
- Prepare and update necessary real-time system equipment and tools inspections.
- Read and interpret schematic drawings to ensure proper installation of electrical process equipment or systems.
- Plan for full PPE (if applicable), work schedules, site locations, permits to work, and contact personnel.
- Read and understand in detail the scope of work, specifications, and project schedule milestones.
- Read and understand relevant real-time system and electrical installation drawings.
- Assist engineers in performing testing and commissioning procedures for real-time systems.
- Lead the site team for installations, including laying cables, repairs, and test calibrations of real-time systems.
- Lead the site team in troubleshooting various field instruments.
- Check assigned activities on-site to ensure work is ongoing with quality, safety, and on-time completion.
- Monitor and provide daily updates on work status to the Project Engineer/Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 years of relevant experience as a supervisor in real-time monitoring system installation and maintenance.
- Ability to work independently, be resourceful, and self-motivated.
- Class 3 Driving License.
- Proficiency in speaking and writing English.
- Willingness to work night shifts (e.g., MRT tunnel access).
- Possession of a certificate in Building Construction Safety Supervisor (BCSS).
- Possession of a Boom Lift Operator certificate and Work at Height Safety certificate (optional).
