CHEMIST-CUM-SITE ENGINEER

Role Descriptions

As a chemist-cum-Site Engineer, you will be responsible for:

1. conducting laboratory tests, including sample preparation and analysis using equipment;
2. performing ballast water sampling, asbestos survey, etc;
3. supporting quality control programs;
4. carrying out calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment;
5. ensuring good housekeeping in the laboratory;
6. performing other tasks as and when required by management.

Qualification and Experience

• At least Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or related field
• No experience required, on-the-job training will be provided

Basic Requirements

• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Able to work independently as well as in teamwork
• Able to follow the standard operating procedures diligently
• Self-motivated

Advanced Requirements

• Laboratory Skills and Analytical Skills
• Knowledge of chemical analysis techniques (APHA Method)
• Knowledge of the ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
• Good documentation practices

Salary and Other Perks

• Basic Salary: S$ 2,800 to S$ 3,500
• Annual Wage Supplement (AWS), Incentive
