WTT ASSOCIATE VIDEO PRODUCER
The Associate Video Producer will attend WTT events worldwide to capture high-quality video content and create engaging stories for broadcast, social media, and digital platforms. This role requires working across time zones and managing tight deadlines, often outside of regular business hours. The ideal candidate will possess a strong creative vision, technical proficiency, and excellent organisational skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with various departments to bring ideas to life.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop creative concepts and scripts for video content, collaborating with the content and marketing teams to align with WTT's brand vision.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including social media managers, event coordinators, and graphic designers, to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms.
- Attend WTT events globally, which often requires international travel and irregular working hours.
- Prepare and manage on-site video production, ensuring all equipment is set up and functioning smoothly.
- Capture high-quality footage, including both cinematic and event-specific content, such as behind-the-scenes clips, match highlights, and exclusive interviews.
- Direct and produce your own shoots, managing camera work while overseeing lighting and audio.
- Provide creative direction for on-site and remote shoots, assisting teams in adhering to deadlines and deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with video equipment, lighting, and audio setups in a fast-paced environment.
- Edit videos and promos for WTT's social media channels, YouTube, and broadcast, ensuring a high production quality.
- Conduct video editing, colour grading, sound mixing, and final delivery.
- Maintain an organised workflow and ensure timely project delivery, often managing multiple shoots, edits, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Manage backups, ensuring all footage is securely stored and accessible.
- Adapt to unforeseen technical challenges, ensuring high-quality footage is captured even under time constraints.
- Work closely with the social media and content team to brainstorm and develop new video concepts and campaigns.
REQUIREMENTS:
Essential:
- Diploma or Degree in Film and Multimedia or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience or a strong portfolio demonstrating video production skills.
- Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro & After Effects) and colour grading techniques.
- Proficient handling of camera gear (FX3, FS5, a7sIII, or equivalent).
- In-depth knowledge of lighting and audio equipment and technical workflows.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and understanding of 2D animation production mechanics (After Effects).
- Proactive and eager to learn.
- A passion for creative visual storytelling with a strong understanding of video pacing and music selection.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable:
- Passion for sport and business.
- Ability to work in multiple languages, with preference for South East Asian Languages.
