Position Objective

Takes full responsibility of Order Processing and Import/Export affairs. Using independent action, recognizes problems and initiates correct action within the parameters of company policies. Provides assistance to sales and logistics personnel.

Major Areas of Responsibility

1. Takes full responsibility for all functions related to order processing. 2. Evaluating, maintaining and updating of various documentation required between order processing and other departments to assure a smooth flow of work.

3. Provides direction to other order processing personnel with technical assistance and procedural guidance, takes responsibility for training of order coordinators.

4. Communicates with HQ for delivery date, initiates correspondence with customers regarding any shipment information.

5. Input customer order for entry into order processing system.

6. Follows up of shipping date and coordinates with various department to ensure timely delivery to customer.

7. Weekly order booking report and back-order report.

8. Engages in activities to improve customers’ relationship, communicates with customers for L/C orders, import/export problems and handles inquiry from customers. Follow up L/C opening and amendment.

9. Responsible for turn-around of customs clearance, evaluate and take action on accuracy and reasonableness of charge from customs broker and traffic agents.

Job Requirements

1. Min. Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field, with 2 years’ relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2. Able to work independently and as a team.

3. Experience in using SAP is an added advantage.

4. Able to converse in Chinese is preferred as required to liaise with our Taiwan and China supply chain counterparts.
