Payroll Specialist [Stat Board | Central | Up to $4.7K]

P-Serv is partnering an esteemed Client and we are looking for HR talents to be a part of the team!

Job Responsibilities

  • To manage employees’ compensation change as required and all payroll processes
  • To reconcile the internal/external interfaces against payroll reports and ensure accuracy in payouts (i.e. medical benefits interface system, interface for deductions, etc)
  • To process minimally two (2) payroll cycles per month based on payroll datelines
  • Processing payment of fixed / ad-hoc allowances and deductions
  • Troubleshooting and rectifying any payroll related errors with internal and external consultants
  • Processing and filing of statutory contributions and deductions
  • Monthly payroll closing
  • Ad-hoc payroll processing (e.g. advanced festival payrun, etc.)
  • Generation and posting online payslips
  • Preparation of bank file for salary disbursement and salary crediting
  • Backup and closing monthly payroll
  • To process payment of variable bonuses and Annual Wage Supplement (i.e. 13th month) (if applicable) and address all related enquiries and reporting needs
  • To liaise with internal and external stakeholders for personal tax reporting, process annual income tax filing and submission within the stipulated deadlines
  • To provide and generate monthly/ ad-hoc payroll reports with detailed breakdowns including:Basic salary, bonus, allowances, statutory contributions and deductions; Medical and claim reports, General Ledger and other finance reports, monthly payroll reconciliation report monthly reports for internal and external parties (e.g. generate monthly union fee deductions and email supporting documents to relevant parties)
  • To troubleshoot with internal and external stakeholders on payroll issues
  • To be responsible for end-to-end secondment billings (e.g. perform reconciliation/verification and ensure timely payment)
  • To coordinate and perform User Acceptance Tests for payroll tasks as and when required
  • Any other ad-hoc matters

Job Requirements

  • Min Diploma graduate with 2 years of relevant working experience in payroll management
  • Tech-savvy with good proficiency in Microsoft Office and technology tools (Note: Excel skills such as Vlookup and pivot tables are important)
  • Experience with Workday or Excelity (Ceridian) systems
  • Good understanding of whole payroll cycle, CPF Act and taxation regulations
  • Good team player with a high level of initiative and able to work independently
  • Good communication, time management and organization skills
  • Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion

Working Hours / Location

  • Mondays to Thursdays: 9:00am to 6:30pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
  • Fridays: 9:00am to 6:00pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
  • Bugis
