Responsibilities
- Lead or participate in the planning and execution of audit engagements to ensure quality of reports and timeliness of deliverables.
- Develop risk-based audit plans and audit programs.
- Ensure coverage of relevant regulatory requirements and recommend improvements to corporate policies, procedures, and practices to enhance IT control design and enforcement.
- Effectively identify potential risks, control gaps/lapses and proactively share best risk management practices.
- Follow-up on the resolution of outstanding audit findings and perform verification of resolved findings.
- Ensure that audit operating standards and procedures are observed, and requirements of the Quality Assurance Review are met.
- Support business audits through integrated or thematic audits by providing technology expertise and evaluating IT controls supporting the business operations.
Skills/Requirement
- At least 6 years of relevant IT audit experience, with some experience in digital / applications audits
- Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with professional certification such as CISA, CISM, CEH, CISSP, CCSP
- Prior experience in insurance or banking sector and familiarity with regulatory requirements specific to technology risk management will be an added advantage.
- Attention to details to ensure completeness and accuracy of audit coverage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to lead and execute work assigned.
- Possess leadership qualities to lead and motivate team of auditors.
