Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and engineering phases of the project, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, addressing engineering challenges that arise on-site.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project specifications and timelines.
- Implement quality assurance procedures to ensure that all engineering work meets project requirements and industry standards.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
- Monitor project costs related to engineering and construction activities, assisting in budget forecasting and control.
- Support project scheduling efforts, ensuring that engineering tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with local, regional, and national building codes and healthcare regulations.
- Identify and resolve engineering issues during construction, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Prepare progress reports and presentations for project management, highlighting key engineering developments and challenges.
Requirements:
- Min Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Min 3 -5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in a construction or healthcare projects
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and structural design software (ETABS, SAP2000).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and capable of producing accurate work under tight deadlines.
- Willing to relocate to Hong Kong during project duration.
