Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed construction plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and time management.
- Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and safety regulations.
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that all construction activities meet industry standards and project requirements.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment needed for construction projects.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulations on-site to protect workers and minimize accidents, conducting regular safety inspections.
- Identify and resolve any issues that arise during construction, whether related to materials, scheduling, or unexpected site conditions.
- Track project progress, including labor and material usage, to ensure milestones are met and adjust plans as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive records of project activities, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence, for accountability and transparency.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and subcontractors, providing updates and addressing concerns throughout the project.
Requirements:
- Min Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Min 3 -5 years of experience as a Construction Engineer in a construction or healthcare projects
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and structural design software (ETABS, SAP2000).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and capable of producing accurate work under tight deadlines.
- Willing to relocate to Hong Kong during project duration.
