We are seeking a motivated Assistant Engineer (Sales & Marketing Support) to join our dynamic team! This role will serve as a bridge between our engineering, sales, and marketing teams, ensuring seamless communication and support. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise and customer-oriented skills to assist in delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Job Scope:
Technical Support for Sales Team:
- Provide technical assistance and product knowledge to the sales team during customer meetings, presentations, and calls.
- Prepare technical documentation, product specifications, and comparison reports for sales presentations.
Customer Interaction & Troubleshooting:
- Assist in addressing technical inquiries from clients and help troubleshoot product-related issues.
- Participate in customer meetings to explain technical aspects of UF membranes and their applications.
Project Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to support technical aspects of client projects, including sizing and selecting appropriate UF membrane products for specific applications.
- Monitor project timelines and provide updates to the sales team to ensure smooth coordination with customers.
Market Research & Product Development Input:
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor products, and industry trends.
- Provide feedback to the R&D and production teams regarding potential improvements or modifications to the UF membrane products based on customer feedback and market demand.
Training & Product Demonstrations:
- Organize and conduct product training sessions for the sales team, distributors, and customers.
- Assist in product demonstrations and pilot installations for potential clients to showcase membrane performance.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions, technical issues, and solutions provided.
- Prepare regular reports on customer feedback, product performance, and sales support activities.
Collaboration with Marketing Team:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop technical content for brochures, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Assist in planning and executing marketing events, such as exhibitions, webinars, and customer workshops.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, or related field).
- Knowledge of water treatment or membrane technology is a plus.
Technical Knowledge:
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand product specifications.
- Familiar with AutoCAD or Solidworks
- Programming and Data analysis will be a plus
Communication Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and prepare technical reports.
Problem-Solving & Collaboration:
- Good analytical skills to troubleshoot and address customer needs.
- Team player with the ability to work across different departments.
