Senior Accounts Executive

(Singapore)

Senior Accounts Executive Responsibilities include:

- Lead the accounting team

- Plan team work schedule, monitor work progress and ensure timeline is met

- Review subordinate’s work, including payroll, cash flow, monthly / quarterly / year-end closing, GST and year-end audit liaison for clients

- Preparation of full set accounts, monthly closing and necessary schedules.

- Prepare and review financial statements/reports and XBRL

- Basic knowledge in corporate secretary work

- Prepare and review corporate tax

- Supervise and guide to junior staff

- Liaise with clients and auditor

- Attend client meetings as and when required

- Discuss issues with Director

- Develop and maintain a portfolio of clients by providing quality accounting service as well as continuous engagement in managing expectations and deliverables

- Identify business opportunities and contribute to the growth and development of the Firm

- Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the director


Requirements

We look for the following general qualities in the people we would like to be a member of our team:

- Minimum 7 years of working experience in an audit or accounting firm

- Proficient in MS Office , MYOB, QuickBook, Xero and other accounting software

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word with all those formulae and function. (ie Pivot table, etc)

- Hand-on experience in handling full set of accounts

- Team Player, good working attitude and be organized

- Good English, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem solving and analytical skills required.

- Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast changing environment.

- Must be process oriented, disciplined and have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.

- Creative, self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with good sense of meeting deadlines.

- Full-time position and 5-day work week

- At least Degree, ACCA holder or equivalent
