Responsibilities:
- Source for Mechanical and electronics components to support new projects
- Perform cost analysis and select best supplier to meet the product requirements
- Responsible in managing the relationship with suppliers on all commercial issues
- Perform cost reduction, VA/VE activities, etc to achieve the KPIs set by the management (eg. the material cost reduction target)
- Able to implement supply management strategies and activities such as VMI, JIT, EDI capabilities, etc.
- To be the escalation point when there is delivery issues during the MP and NPI stages
- Management of SAP data integrity
Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- At least 2 years working experience in the EMS industry
- At least 1 year of experience in sourcing, purchasing or procuring of mechanical parts components
- Strong knowledge in electro-mechanical commodities (LCDs / cables) or electronics components (active or passive components)
- Proficient in SAP/Microsoft Office
