Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation (AP, AR and GL)
- Perform accounts reconciliation to resolve discrepancies
- Manage and monitor cash flows statements
- Prepare financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) and assist in budgeting exercises
- Participate in financial audit
- Review and implement financial policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations (e.g GST, Charity Accounting Standards, etc)
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on matters pertaining to audit, grants and financial reporting
Job Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent relevant qualifications
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience; preferably with experience in social services sector
- Proficiency in use of accounting softwares (e.g QuickBooks)
- Familiar with Singapore Charity Accounting Standards & Corporate Governance (Social Service)
- Attention to detail and able to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
