Sandbar Swimwear is the fastest growing premium swimwear brand in Singapore. Established only recently in 2022 Sandbar Swimwear has grown quickly, with 4 stores in Singapore and 15 stockists globally across luxury hotels and resorts.


Dedicated to eco-conscious practices and passionate about the oceans. Sandbars' swimwear is made from recycled plastic bottles and for every item sold Sandbar in partnership with Seven Clean Seas, removes 1 KG of ocean plastic waste with a mission to remove 1 million KGs of plastic from our oceans.


We are looking for an experienced Area Retail Manager to over see our multi store Retail Management, in summary -

  • Oversee 4 retail stores’ daily operations, from rostering, morning kick offs, sales, incentives, staff training, delegating stock checks and warehouse deliveries to store.
  • Sales and performance: Manage P&L and setting of performance objectives monthly / weekly / daily. Managing staff to reach their sales targets. Plan, evaluate and optimize operations to be efficient and cost-effective. Conduct regular store visits to ensure all operations are in line with company standard.
  • VM: Setting VM plan each quarter, support and provide commercial guidance to store teams with VM changes, ensuring brand image is consistent across all stores. Ensuring all correct products are displayed. Commercial VM plan per store based on each stores demographics and performance.
  • Merchandising: Our Retail Manager should work closely with production team and warehouse to ensure the right products are arriving at the right time.
  • Training & Recruitment: Recruit, train, and conduct regular performance appraisals.
  • HR &Payroll: Resolve all human resources issues in a timely and effective manner, partnering with HR when necessary. Ensuring the integrity of payroll and the payroll process.
  • Stakeholder Management & Negotiation: Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and explore business opportunities.
  • Customer service management: Our Retail Manager should ensure that all responsible stores provide the highest level of customer service. Enhancing our customer loyalty programme and ensuring we maintain our how return customers rates.
  • Events management: Oversee all events on-site tasks, including liaising with vendors for event details, executing event set-up, and supporting event operations. Experience in pop-up and in-store VIP events.

This exciting role as Area Retail Manager will progress towards a Country Manager role overeeing the wider business across digital strategy, e commerce sales, marketing and communications, hotel partnerships, lease agreements, colloaborations and new collection input.
