Job Description:
- Assist in coordinating, scheduling, planning, and supervising purchases, production, and site management.
- Lead, monitor, review & implement project scheduling, purchasing, installation, commissioning, and operation of equipment/machinery to ensure that all objectives of safety, completion time, technical aspects, and profitability are met.
- Preparation of project documents and engineering drawings
- Work with Engineering Team to handle project/engineering document/drawings and ensure proper tracking and distribution.
- Liaise with vendors/subcontractors on equipment/material submission approval, delivery & receipt of goods, and commissioning of equipment.
- Identify and resolve technical problems and ensure that the expenditure of the projects is kept within budgeted costs and completed within the schedule.
- Ensure purchasing activities, e.g. sourcing, evaluation, and recommendations for purchase, are carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
- Liaise with main contractors/subcontractor/site engineers regarding on-site requirements and progress
- Manage and arrange site works with sub-contractors, check, monitor, and evaluate their progress.
- Attend site meetings with the owner, consultants, and main contractors on all matters relating to project operation and coordination
- Conduct site surveys before delivery and involve in site commissioning works.
- Supervise site works and conduct periodic safety inspections and attend WSH meeting
Job requirements:
- Min Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Min 3 Years of working experience in a similar industry
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
- Has good document control & administrative skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to read General arrangement drawings, Layout drawings, shop drawings, electrical single line diagrams, Gantt charts, etc
- Ability to work under pressure of meeting timelines
- Ability to identify potential or actual causes of delay and take preventive/ remedial actions
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Building Construction Safety Supervisor Course (BCSS) certificate is highly preferred.
Fresh graduate is also considered for a junior position.
