We are assisting our client, an established healthcare community hospital, to search for an operations executive to join their operations team.
Responsibilities
- Provide general support on all operational matters.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the current filing system and new services and pilot projects
- Participating in the setting up of work processes operations systems and procedures to effectively support the new services.
- Support in contract management, generate monthly reports to monitor the trend of expenses, and performance satisfaction, and ensure quality and continuous improvement.
- Track the expiry and renewal of all service/maintenance contracts for Operations, including sourcing quotations and preparing vendor evaluations.
- Support the inpatient meal processes, food quality, and patients’ experience, and attend to feedback from ward staff, patients, and patient’s families.
- Support the linen and laundry processes and ensure that there is sufficient par level and stockpile of linen for the wards.
- Work closely with the infection control team and inspect food services (inpatient and retail services) and linen and laundry services.
- Assist therapists in SMF application, order mobility devices, consolidate payment, submit quarterly funding claims and data submission to the Ministry of Health.
- Assist in operating the pandemic and business continuity plans in connection with the hospital-wide response plan in the event such plans need to be activated.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and projects.
- Keep track of the expiry and renewal dates of all licenses and accreditation; submit renewal applications.
- Assist in the co-ordination for the internal and external audits and inspection.
- Arrange meetings and minutes writing.
- Assume other responsibilities relevant to the position as delegated from time to time including work relating to the expansion of services and development of new services or new projects.
Requirements:
- A general diploma/degree or equivalent from a recognized institution is required.
- At least 5 years of working experience.
- Possess a good understanding healthcare delivery model for the ILTC sector.
- Demonstrate initiatives; able to work in collaboration with other professionals in the multi-disciplinary hospital team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
