The Membership and Communications Executive will be responsible for managing membership services and driving member engagement, alongside leading the organization's communications strategy. The ideal candidate will develop and implement initiatives to increase membership acquisition and retention while delivering clear, engaging, and targeted communications to both internal and external stakeholders. The role requires a dynamic individual with strong project management, communications, and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities:
Membership Management:
- Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of members.
- Develop strategies to grow and maintain the membership base.
- Manage the membership database, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
- Respond to member inquiries, providing timely and professional support.
- Coordinate membership renewals and follow-up communications to ensure high retention rates.
Communications:
- Develop and implement the organization’s communications strategy, including social media, email newsletters, and other channels.
- Draft and edit content for newsletters, press releases, website updates, reports, and promotional materials.
- Manage the organization's social media presence and engage with followers across various platforms.
- Develop marketing collateral to support membership growth and engagement.
- Coordinate media relations and act as a point of contact for press inquiries.
Requirements:
· Diploma holder in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
· 2-3 years of experience in membership management, communications, or related roles.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Experience using CRM systems and email marketing platforms.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media tools.
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
· Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
