Working Hours
• Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 2:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays,
school holidays and days when there are no lessons (eg: Exam Admin Day,
Parent-Teacher meeting, etc)
Scope of Services
• Assist in preparing resources for teaching & learning activities (e.g. lesson,
enrichment, competition, exhibition, recycling campaign, garden trail, etc)
• Set up science laboratory / makerspace before activity and clear up after
activity
• Organise the storage of learning materials (e.g. apparatus, equipment, printed
resources, perishables, etc)
• Ensure learning materials are well-maintained and well-stocked (includes
simple cleaning, drying, stock-taking, etc)
• Assist in purchasing learning materials
• Maintain cleanliness of two science rooms and one makerspace room
• Assist in any other teaching & learning related duties as assigned by Teacher-
in-charge, Level Head or Head of Department
Qualification, Skill & Experience of the Contractor’s Personnel
The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
• Able to properly handle primary science laboratory apparatus
• Basic proficiency in spoken and written English
• Organised and attentive to details
• Able to multitask, work independently and meet deadlines
• Able to communicate with teachers through WhatsApp
Additional preferred qualifications, skills and experience:
• Prior working experience in science laboratories and/or primary school
environment
• Relevant working experience in science education
• GCE “O” Level science subjects
• Basic proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
