JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in respective category matters to achieve budget sales and gross profits
- Assist in ensuring price competitiveness against competitors for respective categories
- Assist in ensuring no major issues relating to out of stocks for advertised offers/ major promotions
- Assist in gathering relevant sales and profit contribution for listed SKUs
- Assist in preparing information/notice/planning documents
- Attend overseas procurement, inspection visits and trade events when required
- Basic data entry
- Other ad-hoc projects as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years or more of relevant working experience
- Familiar with the relevant trade industry players and SFA’s licensing and polices pertaining to food safety compliance and routine audit from the relevant authorities for the categories
- Prior experience working on either side of the buying or supply of the category in the supermarket retail trade would be advantageous
- Tertiary education with special focus study on Food Science and Technology would be a plus
- Possess driving license would be a plus
