Job Description:
“We are seeking a skilled and motivated Spa and Wellness Director with a passion for the wellness industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar or management role, along with strong managerial, accounting, and basic massage skills. This role oversees daily operations, ensuring high standards, profitability, and customer satisfaction at our spa outlets.”
Key Responsibilities:
• Operations Management: Oversee daily spa operations, ensuring smooth functionality across reception, therapy, and guest services departments.
• Staff Supervision: Lead, train, and support a team of spa therapists and front desk staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to service standards.
• Marketing and Business Expansion:
• Use marketing analytics to plan campaigns and drive customer growth.
• Develop strategies for business expansion, targeting both local and tourist markets.
• Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for new services or improvements.
• Customer Service: Ensure exceptional guest experiences by upholding high service standards and addressing client feedback promptly.
• Front Desk Oversight: Support hands-on reception duties as needed, including handling bookings, check-ins, and payments.
• Financial Management: Oversee budget, expenses, and revenue. Ensure accurate daily financial transactions and maintain proper accounting records.
• Sales and Marketing: Drive sales for services and retail products, actively support marketing campaigns, and develop strategies to improve client retention.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage supplies and equipment inventory, placing orders as needed to avoid shortages.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for clients and staff.
Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the spa and wellness industry. Hands-on experience as a front desk receptionist and basic massage skills are essential to guide the team on service standards and quality.
• Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Analytics, Economics, or a related field preferred. Accounting knowledge is required.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with diverse clients and staff.
• Schedule Flexibility: Available for long hours (10:30 am to 10:30 pm), including weekends and public holidays.
Skills and Competencies:
• Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Financial Acumen: Strong knowledge of accounting practices, budget management, and financial reporting.
• Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills, able to handle client concerns with patience and professionalism.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
• Problem-Solving: Resourceful and solution-oriented, able to address operational challenges promptly.
