Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive DevOps Engineer to join our team, focusing on deploying applications and managing cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Terraform, along with a strong understanding of AWS. This position is crucial for ensuring seamless deployments, optimizing our cloud resources, and supporting our development teams in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee Kubernetes clusters, ensuring efficient deployment, scaling, and maintenance of applications. Assist developers with creating Helm charts and YAML configurations for smooth deployment processes.
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, facilitating rapid and reliable application delivery. Integrate security measures into deployment workflows.
- Develop and maintain Terraform configurations to automate infrastructure provisioning and management on AWS, ensuring best practices in infrastructure as code.
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy and manage AWS resources, ensuring they align with application requirements and optimize cost efficiency.
- Implement monitoring solutions using the ELK stack, Grafana, and Prometheus to track application performance and resource utilization in Kubernetes and AWS environments, addressing issues proactively.
- Optimize AWS and Kubernetes costs by implementing efficient resource tagging and usage practices, ensuring high resource utilization.
- Create and maintain documentation for deployment processes and infrastructure configurations. Provide training and support to team members as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and managing containerized applications.
- Proficient in AWS cloud services and best practices.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Jenkins.
- Basic understanding of Linux system administration.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools, including the ELK stack, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
